I have dabbled before with custom figures, but I think we should all chip in and work on a custom set. It gets boring waiting for a new set to come out and everyone seems to have their own ideas for figures, so why not make custom figures and then test them out? I think it can be fun; we make the figures here, go over how underpowered or overpowered they are and ways to fix them, then we can use proxy figures to test them out.

It gives everyone a chance to be creative; you can make...

I contacted Mike at Alternate Universes in Blue Bell. There will be a DCI Star Wars Miniatures tournament there tomorrow night -- Saturday, August 1 -- at 7:00pm. In order to see what kind of a turnout we can get, there will be no charge for the tournament. (Likewise, I wouldn't expect any prize support, though.)

I assume they won't have maps there like Dimension did, so please remember to bring a map with you. If you don't, I'm sure other players will have one...

I know Rob has recommended Cyborg One in Doylestown, but at 30-35 minutes that's farther than I'll be able to go for tournaments. It's been hard enough to get out to Dimension and that's about a 7 minute walk from my house. (I know some of you guys already drive farther than that to get to Dimension - you're troopers in that regard.) Hey players - as some of you know, we are going to be moving Star wars Mini's to Saturdays at 11am. Friday nights we will be closing at 7pm. This will start next week (July 18th). Saturdays was mentioned as being a better day for a lot of players and hopefully some of the out of town players can make these events now. Everything will remain the same

If you were watching G4TV just now, you probably saw the trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic. No words can describe how great this game looked and how awe inspiring it looked. The trailer closed the EA announcements and it blew the audience away.

I am waiting for the trailer to go online, so if you missed it you'll need to wait. But to give you an example of what this looked like: Imagine the greatest thing that could ever happen to you and multiply that by a million.

as of right now, we are thinking of adding an additional night of SWM, I am thinking Tuesday nights. Hoping that this allows more players to come out and some don't have to miss events. Let me know what you think...

Fee would be the same, start time would be 6pm or 6:30pm (that way everyone can get there...let us know)
